An Integrated Approach to Process Support

Sustainable Development Requires Result-oriented Dialogic Process Competence
As an internationally operating non-profit organization the Collective Leadership Institute is committed to building competence for sustainability by supporting stakeholders from the private sector, the public sector and civil society in creating and implementing collaborative change initiatives for innovative and sustainable solutions to local and global societal challenges.
Through our combination of capacity development programs and comprehensive process support services we assist you in the creation of local, national and international collaboration and consultation processes in the form of Stakeholder Dialogues that can be owned by all stakeholders and accomplish tangible outcomes with measurable and sustainable impact.

"Stakeholder Dialogue" is a term that can be applied to a wide variety of partnerships, cross-sector collaboration, inter- and intra-organizational consultation, and change processes which require the integration of multiple interests and stakeholders.

The Collective Leadership Institute’s process support combines advisory, strategic process coaching, monitoring and evaluation with integrated capacity development for initiators and managers of Stakeholder Dialogues. Our approach is rooted in our Dialogic Change Model as well as other methodologies focusing on self-awareness, system awareness, and process competence. Moreover, it offers you instruments and tools, which enable you to thoroughly understand the specific characteristics of stakeholder cooperation and dialogue. Our proven method is based on extensive experience, which allows us to take you through a series of structured phases for planning and engaging, implementing and finally evaluating your Stakeholder Dialogue.

After jointly completing initial context and stakeholder analyses, we take you through a step-by-step process, which supports you in creating an environment of collaboration and respect that constructively integrates the different perspectives and backgrounds of all stakeholders.
Once this general foundation is built, we advise you on how your process can accomplish tangible results and achieve sustainable impact. Our unique approach combines supporting management in successful stakeholder engagement and process design with the added value of tailor-made capacity development. In this way, we provide you with the necessary skills required for successfully initiating, leading and evaluating your Stakeholder Dialogue process.

We Support Your Process Architecture
Through a combination of process coaching and systemic process advisory we support you in creating and implementing high quality process designs leading to tangible outcomes. Experience has shown that processes designed and implemented based on our dialogic approach result in more efficient, more effective and, ultimately, more successful collaborations, which eventually produce more sustainable results.
At the same time we enable you to successfully navigate your process through the critical stages of complex multi-stakeholder collaborations and adequately respond to the diversity of interests and agendas.
We also advise you how to evaluate the results of your Stakeholder Dialogue and assess the achieved impact.

We Enhance Your Process Competence
Our tailor-made capacity building courses enable you to enhance your dialogic competence and strategic implementation skills in cross-sector multi-stakeholder dialogues and collective leadership for sustainability.

Our integrated capacity building is uniquely designed to meet the specific requirements of your particular process. It develops the collaboration competence of all major stakeholders involved and qualifies you to plan and implement Stakeholder Dialogues in a structured manner.

Our strategic coaching strengthens practical competencies and reflection skills for leaders, process managers and change agents in private companies, public institutions, development cooperation and civil society organizations.

Manifold experience shows, that our integrated approach (based on several methodologies including the Dialogic Change Model) significantly impacts the quality of Stakeholder Dialogue processes, thus increasing the sustainability of their outcomes.
